ChesapeakeBP was founded and is actively managed by Michael Looney. Mike has been intricately involved in the retirement plan industry since 1991. With expertise in retirement plan administration, systems, process management and fiduciary services, Michael provides seasoned leadership to the ChesapeakeBP family of consultants.
Prior to founding ChesapeakeBP, Mike served as a managing partner with MK Consulting for 9 years and spent 4 years with T. Rowe Price in their retirement plan services area. While at MK, Michael was responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring that consultant deliverables met or exceeded client expectations. Additionally, Mike regularly worked on consulting assignments of particular interest.
In addition to leading CBP, Mike is actively involved in his community and is currently pursuing a late in life call to the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of MD. Mike enjoys straddling the two worlds of business and spiritual care.
